Storeart Notes

The following changes have been applied to the store: (November 3, 2023)

The store's theme has been updated to match the look and feel of the attached mockups.
The homepage has been updated to redirect the user to the "Available Inventory" category page.
On the category page, the category links with the heading the reads "Product Catalogs" has been added above the search form. Please note that upon further review, we are unable to display this section sitewide due to how the system is setup. That being said, the category links are also available in the header section which is visible sitewide.
On the category page, the links for Purpose Resources and Employer Brand Resources have been added above the search form.

The following changes have been applied to the store: (November 17, 2023)

The customization that takes the user from the home page to the 'Available Inventory' category page has been removed.
On the category page, the category links under the 'Product Catalogs' section has been updated to work the same as the category links in the header section. With this update, the 'Purpose Resources' and 'Employer Brand Resources' category links have been separated from the other categories.
The Billing Method page has been updated to display the currently logged in user's "GL Code" (Custom User Field) to the Custom Payment input field. This input field is editable for the user.
On the product page, the multiple logo selections section has been updated to only allow one location to be selected. With this update, after the user selects a logo on one location, other location options will be hidden. Additionally, a "Clear Selection" button will appear which when clicked, will remove the selection and all other location options will appear again.

The following changes have been implemented in the store as of December 20, 2023:

The "View Catalogs" category navbar link has been renamed to "View all items".
The "Catalogs" filter name on the Category pages has been renamed to "All items".
The background color of the logo thumbnail on the Product and Cart pages has been updated to gray.
The sections of the three-column section on the footer have been updated to have equal widths.
The horizontal rule above the Copyright section has been removed from the footer.
The "Continue Shopping" button on the Cart page has been updated to take the user back to the previous page.
The font weight of the "Total" table header on the Cart page has been updated to bold.
The right padding on the left side of the Checkout page has been updated.
The "Personal Information" and "Shipping Address" subheaders have been removed from the Shipping Address section of the Checkout page.
A box with a background color of #e3ba12 and verbiage indicated on the PPT file has been added to the Shipping Method section of the Checkout page.
The "Cost Center" custom payment method's textbox has been updated to always follow the "XXXX-XXXX" format.
A checkbox with verbiage that reads "All items are for business purposes only and charges will be billed to the cost center above." has been added to the Billing Method section of the Checkout page.
The "Continue" button on the Billing Method section of the Checkout page has been updated to remain disabled until the "Cost Center" custom payment method's textbox has a value that follows the "XXXX-XXXX" format, and the checkbox with verbiage that reads "All items are for business purposes only and charges will be billed to the cost center above." has been checked.
The "Personal Information" and "Shipping Address" subheaders have been removed from the Checkout Summary section of the Checkout page.
The verbiage on the Order Confirmation Email has been updated to read "Thank you for your order! This was sent to your manager for approval. You will be notified once they make a decision." if the grand total of the order exceeds $500.
The "Coupon Savings" row has been removed from the Order Confirmation Email.
The contact number on the Order Confirmation Email has been moved below the email.
The verbiage on the approver email has been updated to read "This order requires your approval before it can be produced or shipped. Orders that aren’t approved within 10 days will be automatically declined." if the order exceeds $500.
The verbiage on the approved denied email has been updated to read "Your order has been declined. If you have any questions, please contact your manager.".

The following changes have been implemented in the store as of January 17, 2024:

The font color of the yellow box on the Shipping Method section of the Checkout page has been updated to black.
The "(required)" verbiage has been added to the checkbox on the Billing Method section of the Checkout page that reads "All items are for business purposes only and charges will be billed to the cost center above.".
The font color of the verbiage on the Order Confirmation Email that reads "Thank you for your order at Equifax online store. You can check the status of your order any time by logging into your account." has been updated to #007396.
A section on the home page between the slideshow and footer sections has been added, containing links under the "Catalogs" category.

- The "Cost Center (xxxx-xxxx)" custom payment method's textbox has been updated to have a default value equivalent to the values of the "CF_INT_Division_Org_Code" and "Cost Center" custom user fields. (February 5, 2024)

The following changes have been implemented on the Checkout page as of August 5, 2025 (#10167):

The "Credit Card" payment method on the Billing Method section has been updated to be hidden if "Business Purchase" is selected as the option under the "Purchase Method" Custom Data Collection (CDC) subsection.
The "Cost Center (xxxx-xxxx)" payment method on the Billing Method section has been updated to be hidden if "Personal Purchase" is selected as the option under the "Purchase Method" Custom Data Collection (CDC) subsection.
The checkbox on the Billing Method section with verbiage that reads "All items are for business purposes only and charges will be billed to the cost center above. (required)" has been updated to be hidden if "Personal Purchase" is selected as the option under the "Purchase Method" Custom Data Collection (CDC) subsection.
The "Continue" button on the Billing Method section has been updated to be automatically enabled if "Personal Purchase" is selected as the option under the "Purchase Method" Custom Data Collection (CDC) subsection.

The following changes have been implemented on the Custom Data Collection (CDC) section of the Checkout page as of August 6, 2025 (#10167):

The verbiage that reads "Personal Purchase - please proceed with using your credit card" has been updated to be hidden if "Business Purchase" is selected as the option under the "Purchase Method" CDC subsection.
The verbiage that reads "You do not need to enter an Oracle iProcurement request in addition to submitting this order." has been updated to be hidden if "Personal Purchase" is selected as the option under the "Purchase Method" CDC subsection.

All requested updates have been implemented:

Purchase Types – Updated to show Business or Personal.

Order Notes Section – The message now changes dynamically based on the shopper’s selection, styled to match your mockup with an adjusted font size so it no longer takes up the entire screen.

Corporate Address Selection – When Business Purchase is chosen, the system now automatically selects the corporate address in the Billing Address section and makes the fields read-only to prevent modification.(#10219 Aug 25, 2025)

This has been implemented. When Business is selected, the checkout now bypasses the billing method screen entirely and auto-applies the Equifax corporate address. When Personal is chosen, the billing method screen remains visible, but Equifax corporate no longer appears in the shipping or billing address dropdowns—only the shopper’s own saved or previous addresses are shown.(#10219 Sep 5 2025)

The update has now been implemented — when Business is selected in the order notes, the Billing Address step is completely removed from the checkout progress bar.

So instead of just making the billing address read-only and skipping it, we have customized it to remove it entirely from the checkout counter and hide the whole Billing Address section for Business orders..(#10219 Sep 26 2025)
